David English

David's playing experience began with this club when it was the Clemson Area Soccer Club and was a member of the club for 6 years.  He was a 4 year starter on the Seneca HS varsity soccer team. During those 4 years, the Seneca team reached the upper state finals once and made it to the 3rd round of playoffs twice.  In 1999 & 2000, he was named to the All-Region team.  David was a member of the SC ODP team for 5 years and 2 of those as a member of the Regional team. David went on to play at Southern Wesleyan University on a soccer scholarship.

David is in his 7th year of coaching with CASA. During his time as a coach, his teams have won numerous tournaments all over the Southeast.  In 2007, he helped guide them to the State Cup where they finished as Finalists in the Classic Division. In the summer of 2009, he coached the U-17 Regional team that tied 2 games and lost 1. David is a former assistant Men's coach at Tri-County Tech and has been an assistant coach at Seneca HS for 6 years. He is now the Varsity Head Coach at Seneca HS. He currently holds a USSF "D" license.

Corey Morrell

Corey is the head women’s soccer coach at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC which is a member of Conference Carolinas in NCAA D2. He grew up in Clemson playing club soccer in and around the Anderson area for Trinity, SC Strikers and DSA, and also was a member of the ODP program from 1991-1995. He played at Anderson University and was captain and leading scorer in 1997 before graduating from Clemson University. Corey has a D license.

He is beginning his second year with CASA and is moving into the role of Jr Academy Director. He is married to Summer Morrell and together they have 3 children and live in Anderson.

Ruben Soriano

Ruben has been involved with soccer as a player, a coach, a league founder and a radio commentator.   He played soccer in high school and in an amateur soccer league as an adult.  He began coaching adult teams in 2002 and youth teams in 2007 and received his “D” license in 2011.  Ruben has coached in the Clemson Recreational Department, at CESA and at CASA. In 2005, Ruben developed a soccer league in Travelers Rest where he was responsible for logistics as league administrator. In addition to coaching, Ruben has been working since 2005 for two Hispanic radio stations in the Upstate as a soccer analyst and reporter covering the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, the Gold Cup tournament and various international matches throughout the United States.
